Summary
Under a Registered Nurse's supervision, Licensed Vocational Nurse / LVN Surgical Unit provides nursing care for a group of patients, based on the patients' needs with the LVN's competencies. Licensed Vocational Nurse / LVN ompletes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Minimum Education: Graduate of an accredited school of vocational nursing.
Preferred Experience: Licensed Vocational Nurse / LVN in an acute care setting.
Required Licensure and Certification: Possession of current Texas State License for Licensed Vocational Nurse
BLS required within 10 days of hire or transfer into unit.
